PayPal already takes a ton of cash for payments, but no, that's not enough for them.
If you buy something in a currency different from your billing card's currency, they will convert it at a rip-off exchange rate.
For example, if I buy something in dollars, PayPal will bill my card in euros at a lousy exchange rate.
They removed the option to change this for all your payments, and the only way to do it is to change it every single time you buy. What's more, the interface window is designed so that the confirm button isn't immediately visible, and if you aren't paying attention, nothing will change.
Naturally, 95% of buyers won't do this, and if they live in Latvia, like me, they'll lose money on every dollar purchase.
